Speech language pathologists work with people who have difficulty communicating because of stroke, brain injuries, aphasia, dementia, voice problems, stuttering as well as other problems that can affect speech and language. SLP helps to cope with injuries and adjust to the environment, reducing stress resulting from injury, increase reading skills, increase writing skills and teach every-day functional tasks.
The Clinic provides one-on-one sessions with an emphasis on quality patient care on an individualized basis. The friendly environment is welcoming for young patients who have speech and language problems. Patients are nurtured with knowledge and caring.
